About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Testing Specialist to join our team at Atrium Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our construction materials testing team, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of tests on materials used in construction, ensuring they meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct material testing on various construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt.
  • Use specialist equipment to assess properties like strength, density, and texture.
  • Record test results and prepare detailed reports for internal and external use.
  • Work closely with different teams to ensure materials meet required specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing techniques and safety standards.
Requirements
  • A degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or Construction, or equivalent experience in the sector.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience in materials testing is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and report on data.
