We are seeking a skilled Family Group Conference Coordinator to join our team at the Family Rights Group. As a Coordinator, you will work with families to facilitate Independent Family Group Conferences (FGCs). FGCs provide an opportunity for families to come together to discuss and make decisions about their care and support needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating family group conferences and be able to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. You should also have a strong understanding of the principles and practices of family group conferencing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating FGCs with families in a supportive and non-judgmental manner
  • Ensuring that all family members have an equal opportunity to participate and contribute to the conference
  • Providing information and guidance on the FGC process and its outcomes

In this role, you will work as an independent contractor, using your skills and expertise to deliver high-quality services to families. We offer a competitive fee of £539 per completed FGC, plus expenses, and flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in coordinating family group conferences or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A deep understanding of the principles and practices of family group conferencing
