Talk Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior CAD Manager to oversee the design process for various building sector projects in Yorkshire and the North East.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing design-related issues, collaborating with consultants, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design process for multiple projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement design strategies to support business growth and delivery.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to negotiate consultant appointments and manage their activities.
  • Manage all aspects of consultant and specialist sub-contractor activities.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in building sector projects, including Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Apartment Blocks, Student Accommodation, Hotels, Extra Care Housing, MOJ, MOD, Industrial, Education, or Healthcare.
  • Previous experience as a Design Co-ordinator, D&B Coordinator, D&B Manager, or Design Manager.
  • Excellent technical skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
