Job Title: User Experience/Design Researcher

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience/Design Researcher to join our team at Sanderson. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering user-centred design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research activities to understand user needs and pain points.
  • Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with stakeholders and users.
  • Develop service blueprints and user journey maps.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights and design recommendations.
  • Design and prototype potential solutions following the government design system principles.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Present design proposals and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working within a Government Design System and a strong understanding of DDAT.
  • Experience conducting user research, including generative research methods.
  • Experience with co-production, co-design and collaborative design techniques.
  • Proven ability to map services and user journeys.
  • Experience leading projects end to end.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £50,000 and a hybrid model working arrangement, with 2 days per week working from our Swansea office.
