Inclusive Education Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Inclusive Education Assistant to join our team at TimePlan Education in Cambridge, UK.
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role:This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to support children with special educational needs (SEN) in a vibrant and inclusive education setting.
As an Inclusive Education Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide support to students with SEN, promoting their learning, social, and emotional development.
You will work closely with the class teacher to implement personalised learning plans, monitor students' progress, and report observations to the class teacher.
Additionally, you will build strong, supportive relationships with students to enhance their confidence and well-being, and assist with classroom management, ensuring students can engage in lessons and activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to students with SEN, promoting their learning, social, and emotional development.
- Implement personalised learning plans with the class teacher.
- Monitor students' progress and report observations to the class teacher.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students to enhance their confidence and well-being.
- Assist with classroom management, ensuring students can engage in lessons and activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in childcare, care support work, or a similar field.
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- An understanding of the needs of children with SEN.
