Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Head Teacher at Burton upon Stather Primary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the school's curriculum development, staff management, and student achievement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all students
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality education and student outcomes
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive school improvement and ensure consistent application of effective school systems and processes
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement, and make data-driven decisions to inform teaching and learning
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community to promote the school's values and mission

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Teacher or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive school improvement
  • Passion for education and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
