Virgin Active Fitness Manager Role

As a Fitness Manager, you'll play a key role in leading our Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Teams to provide our members with the finest fitness and wellness sessions in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of in-club products, including Personal Training, Gym Training, and Group Exercise.
  • Act as an ambassador of Virgin Active, consistently demonstrating the highest standards of behavior and role-modeling excellence to other employees.
  • Maintain positive, productive working relationships with team members, being proactive and taking ownership of situations.
  • Recruit and train top Personal Trainers and Group Exercise Instructors, supporting their development and class assessments.
  • Deliver key in-club and external fitness events and experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for strategic and tactical approaches.
  • Understand and engage with KPIs and targets, driving new member acquisition into our fitness and group exercise programs.
  • Fulfill duty shifts, taking responsibility and accountability during shifts, controlling staffing and facility issues.
Requirements
  • Hold a REPS Level 3 or CIMSPA equivalent qualification.
