About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Team Leader to join our team at Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent retail offer for our local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Assistant Manager and volunteer team to achieve agreed income targets - sales, Gift Aid, and Hospice Lottery.
  • Leading the team to deliver an excellent customer experience and maximise sales and profit.
  • Supporting the recruitment, induction, training, and retention of volunteers, promoting a happy and productive working environment.
  • Line management responsibility for the Assistant Manager, providing effective support, training, and personal development.

About You

We are looking for an experienced retail professional with a proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales targets in a customer-facing retail environment. You will have a strong understanding of charity retail and be able to demonstrate your ability to work collaboratively with a team to deliver results.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of managing a team in charity or fashion retail.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading a team to achieve sales targets in a customer-facing retail environment.
