About the Role

Crossroads Care NI is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional care and support services to our clients in Northern Ireland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the needs of clients are met.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Right to live and work in the UK.
  • Full valid driving license, access to a car, and willingness to use for business purposes.
  • Residing in the area advertised.
  • 6 months previous paid caring experience.
  • Ability to use a smartphone, including emails and word/attachments.
  • Have internet access and be computer literate.

Desirable Criteria:

  • One year's previous caring experience.
