Energy and Carbon Management Specialist

Join Safran Landing Systems Services as an Energy and Carbon Management Specialist and play a key role in reducing the company's environmental impact. As a specialist in energy and carbon management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions across our UK sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and disseminating industry trends and future innovation in the clean energy sector.
- Developing and implementing a strategic approach to energy and carbon management for SLSS & SLS UK sites.
- Leading consulting assignments with SLSS & SLS UK sites to deliver emissions baselining, reduction plans, and costed roadmaps.
- Engaging key stakeholders from Executive to Operational levels at all UK business unit sites to identify internal resources gaps to support the implementation of SLSS & SLS UK low carbon strategy to 2030.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, including engineers, operations managers, and senior leaders, to drive sustainability initiatives and reduce our environmental impact.
Our Gloucester site is a centre of excellence, dedicated to the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of landing gears and associated components for civil, military, and helicopter aircraft. With over 220 employees, the team supports the overhaul of more than 350 legs per year, with a dedicated team of engineers to support customers on-wing when issues emerge in service.
