About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Shurgard Wellingborough. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising customers on our products and services, both in-store and remotely.
  • Renting storage rooms and merchandise sales, with a focus on achieving targets.
  • Supporting existing customers with queries and issues, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • General administrative activities, including contract management and store maintenance.
  • Supporting the store team to ensure a positive and efficient customer experience.
Requirements
  • Previous retail or commercial work experience, preferably in a consultative sales or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Reliability, honesty, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Interest in further training and development opportunities, with a desire to progress within the company.
