Nurse Functional Assessor Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Functional Assessor. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise and make a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assess the functional capacity of individuals with disabilities or health conditions, using a combination of telephone, video, and face-to-face interactions.
  2. Produce detailed reports outlining the impact of an individual's disability or health condition on their daily life.
  3. Develop and maintain strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills through ongoing training and feedback.

Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration number.
  • At least one year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside of the NHS.
  • The right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
