Kitchen Assistant

- To maintain a clean and organized wash-up cycle of crockery, cutlery, and other goods in the wash-up areas.
- To ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy, with pots and pans cleaned and maintained for the chefs' use.
- To provide a safe working environment in the kitchen, wash-up, and back-of-house areas.
- To ensure the smooth running of these areas, you need good organizational skills and the ability to avoid a backlog of washing-up.
Other duties include:
- Keeping the back and front of house clean and tidy.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness in accordance with food hygiene regulations using correct chemicals on the correct surfaces and appliances.
- Washing-up of all pots and pans and other equipment used in the kitchen.
- Ensuring back-of-house areas are in a clean order.
- Ensuring bins are neat, clean, and tidy.
- Ensuring everything is cleaned and the floor is swept and mopped at the end of every shift, ready for the next day's business.
- Any other reasonable task asked by a member of management.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness in accordance with food hygiene regulations using correct chemicals on the correct surfaces and appliances.
