Job Summary

NHS Lothian is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our Intensive Home Treatment Team in Midlothian.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient care needs and develop individualized programs of care
  • Implement and evaluate care programs to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care services
  • Provide cover for the Senior Charge Nurse/Team Manager as needed
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a formal post-registration qualification or equivalent experience in mental health nursing. A strong understanding of the principles of intensive home treatment and the ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential.

The postholder will be required to have a PVG Scheme membership/record and be willing to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check.
