Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and committed to supporting the academic success of students with additional needs.

About the Role

As an Education Support Specialist, you will work closely with our SENCo to implement individualized learning programs, provide one-on-one support, and assist teachers in planning and preparing resources. Your role will involve working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide personalized support to students with additional needs
* Assist teachers in planning and preparing educational resources
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement inclusive lesson plans
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Salary Information

The salary for this position is £25,584 - £27,269 per annum (actual salary £19,027 - £20,280 per annum).

This school is part of the Bishop Wheeler Catholic Academy Trust, which consists of 2 high schools and 14 primary schools. Our academy is situated on the North West fringe of Leeds, close to the Yorkshire Dales.
