Accounting and Bookkeeping Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting and Bookkeeping Professional to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions.
  • Review and reconcile financial statements and ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and submit monthly CIS returns and quarterly VAT returns.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Support auditing activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and clients.
  • A qualification in AAT/ICB.
