Job Overview

TPF Recruitment is supporting a dynamic firm of chartered accountants in their search for an experienced Accounts and Financial Reporting Specialist. Our client is a forward-thinking firm that values staff retention and provides a great working environment.

You will work in a general practice capacity across financial reporting, audit, and tax, with the opportunity to build your role around your experience and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
  • Lead financial reporting and audit engagements from planning through to completion, collaborating with the team and clients as necessary.
  • Provide expert financial and taxation advice and support to clients.
  • Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
  • Assist in the management of a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
  • Mentor colleagues, reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
  • Develop and expand the team's skillset through development plans, training, and support.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • At least 3+ years of practice experience.
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong communication skills.
