Children's Residential Care Home Director

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (Level 5 qualified)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (flexibility required)
Home Type: 4-bed residential care home for children aged 7-17 (EBD)

Lead with Purpose: Manage the daily operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our children.
Inspire and Motivate: Provide strong leadership and supervision to your team, creating a positive, supportive, and engaging environment.
Create Positive Outcomes: Develop and implement high-quality care plans and risk assessments to keep our children safe, happy, and thriving.
Ensure Compliance: Stay up to date with Ofsted and Local Authority requirements, ensuring the home consistently meets or exceeds regulatory standards.
Leadership Skills: A strong leader who can inspire and manage a team to deliver exceptional care.
Expert Knowledge: A thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and the requirements for running a children's home.
Experience: At least 3 years in a registered manager role within a children's care home, including experience with Ofsted inspections.
Qualifications: You should hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
Passion: A deep commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children, with the resilience and communication skills to make a lasting impact.
Full UK Driving Licence: For any necessary travel as part of the role.
Proactive Approach: Always looking for ways to improve the care and operations of the home, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives.
