Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct routine and non-routine product testing to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Support the Shift Leader in driving '24/7 Compliance' and resolving ongoing quality issues.
- Investigate non-conformances and spoilage issues to identify root causes.
- Conduct environmental monitoring within the Laboratory and Production areas.
- Carry out and record site CCP checks.
- Support the Shift QC Leader with driving Quality KPI's on shift.
- Ensure CLAS compliance and cleanliness.
- Assist with internal audits and conduct testing.
- Analyse lab data for trends and improvements.
- Participate in root cause analysis and suggest improvements.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to work on own initiative.
- Good communication skill; written & oral.
- Ability to work both alone and as part of a team in a busy environment.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Pro-active approach to continued professional development of self.
- Problem solving skills.
- Food industry experience is desirable.
- Previous laboratory experience is desirable.
- Scientific qualification/ background is essential.
