About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced economist to join our team as a Lecturer in Economics. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and research in the field of economics, as well as contributing to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach economics courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Conduct research in economics and publish in reputable journals
  • Contribute to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programs
  • Mentor and support students throughout their studies
  • Set and mark assessment of modules in accordance with University standards
Requirements
  • PhD in Economics or a related field
  • Experience of teaching and research in economics
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
