About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Wendreth Court Care Home in March, Cambridgeshire. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Companionship: engaging residents in activities, conversations, and hobbies

• Personal Care: assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting

• Mobility Support: helping residents with walking, transfers, and mobility around the home

• Medication Management: overseeing the administration of medication and providing medical support

• Domestic Support: assisting with household chores, such as cleaning and vacuuming

• Meal Preparation: preparing and cooking meals for residents

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS clearance

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
