We are partnering with a Manufacturing business based in Manchester to appoint a Financial Controller to oversee all financial and operational activity. This role requires a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and GAAP/IFRS, as well as leadership and team management skills to foster a collaborative and efficient finance team.
Key Responsibilities
-------------------
* Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, budgeting, and forecasting teams.
* Oversee cash flow forecasts and analysis.
* Manage treasury including investments.
* Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial processes to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
* Lead and manage the audit process, working with external auditors.
Key Requirements

* Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and GAAP/IFRS.
* Financial modelling and analytical tools.
* Leadership and team management skills, fostering a collaborative and efficient finance team.
