As a Materials Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will play a key role in helping the world's most innovative companies unlock their potential. With a strong focus on materials selection, corrosion assessment, and component design, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in Defence Aerospace Projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineering Studies: Assist with engineering studies related to welding technology, corrosion assessments, and materials selections.
  • Engineering Calculations: Perform calculations for corrosion & erosion.
  • Project Engineering Documents: Produce project engineering documents, including materials selection and corrosion management.
  • Technical Assessments: Conduct written technical assessments and notes for reporting study results.
  • Deliverables: Assist with preparation, checking, or approving engineering deliverables.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have metallic and aerospace experience, a degree in Materials Engineering, and Chartered Status or working towards Chartership. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships across the business are also essential. The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
