About the Role:
Pertemps Bond is seeking a skilled Yard Shunter to join our team in a permanent, ongoing position. As a Yard Shunter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transport yard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move vehicles of all categories around the yard, ensuring efficient use of space and resources.
- Offload empty trays from vehicles, maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
- Perform vehicle washing and fuelling tasks, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards.
Requirements:
- Previous driving experience, with a valid UK driving license and fewer than 3 points.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting and prolonged walking.
