We are seeking a skilled Yard Shunter to join our team at Pertemps Bond in Milton Keynes. As a Yard Shunter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the yard, taking a hands-on approach and adapting to various requirements as needed.

Your main duties will include:

  • Moving vehicles of all categories around the yard.
  • Offloading empty trays from vehicles.
  • Washing vehicles
  • Fuelling vehicles.
  • Ensuring the yard remains clean, tidy and operational at all times.
  • Vehicle checks.

Successful applicants will have previous driving experience, hold a UK driving license with less than 3 points, and be physically fit due to the nature of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a range of vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve yard operations goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Valid UK driving license with less than 3 points.
  • Physical fitness to perform the duties of the role.
