Principal Radio Engineer

Element is seeking a highly skilled Principal Radio Engineer to support the growth of our Connected Technologies business. As a senior member of our team, you will play a key role in expanding our radio testing capabilities in the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading Testing, Inspection and Certification company providing solutions to the Consumer Product testing sector.

  • Provide technical and engineering leadership, and support the development of new technologies.
  • Accountable for accurate and timely release of testing data to customers, including creation and sign-off of test reports.
  • Contribute to business development opportunities with new or existing customers.
  • Assist in the professional development of technicians and engineers within the local laboratory.
  • Availability to work a morning and evening shift pattern.
  • In-depth knowledge of ETSI and FCC Radio test standards (EN, EN, EN, FCC rule part ;
  • Reasonable understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and quality system management.
  • In-depth knowledge of testing Consumer Products for global certification requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop technical knowledge in their chosen field.
  • Minimum 5 years' pertinent post-degree engineering experience, or advanced academic/professional qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years in an EMC / Radio test laboratory environment.

Knowledge of UKAS Accreditations and quality systems would be highly beneficial.
