Field Service Engineer Opportunity
Join a leading international manufacturer of forklift trucks and take advantage of a local field-based role offering comprehensive on-the-job training and an extensive benefits package.

The Field Service Engineer role is ideal for engineers from various backgrounds, including plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, or similar equipment. As a vehicle technician looking to transition into a new industry, you'll receive full training and have the opportunity to develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment
  2. Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  3. Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  4. Spares will be placed in your van overnight

Requirements:

  1. Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, or similar equipment; automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  2. Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
  3. Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
