Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Join Luton Bennett, a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks, as a Field Service Engineer in our Romford & Southend of Sea Territory.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to carry out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
  • Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  • Completing comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  • Spares placed in van overnight
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  • Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
  • Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
