About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Relief Chef to join our team at Elior UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our catering operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to deliver an efficient and high-quality service to our customers and clients.
  • Maintain and control food stocks within budget, ensuring optimal inventory management.
  • Ensure effective team communication, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to achieve operational excellence.
  • Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership ability and a genuine interest in customer service excellence.
  • A strong team player with high confidence and a positive attitude.
  • Catering experience with chef skills, with contract catering experience being desirable.
  • Senior chef management experience is essential.
