We are seeking an experienced Used Car Department Manager to join our team at Wessex Garages Holdings Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the used car department, ensuring high standards of stock management, pricing, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management: Source and manage used car stock, ensuring optimal pricing and valuation.
- Inventory Control: Effectively manage overage stock, adhering to stock management principles and strategies.
- Department Performance: Monitor and improve department performance, achieving targets for volume and profit.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide accurate and timely reports on department performance, including margins, volumes, and sales processes.
- Staff Management: Lead and develop a team of sales professionals, ensuring adherence to sales processes and high standards of customer service.
- Display and Presentation: Oversee the display and presentation of used cars, ensuring high standards of manufacturer used cars, standards, display, and security.
- Customer Service: Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and adherence to customer service standards.
- Compliance: Ensure department compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal control matters, including FCA and trading standards compliance.
