About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons West Norwood Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our youngest children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Early Years professionals to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Develop and implement engaging learning environments and activities that meet the needs of all children
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children
  • Ensure the safety, welfare, and protection of all children in our care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our nursery's policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or similar
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Safeguarding policies
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
