Job Title: QHSE Engineer

Orion Electrotech is seeking a highly skilled QHSE Engineer to join our team. As a QHSE Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's quality, health, and safety systems are maintained and improved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the company's quality, health, and safety systems.
  • Oversee the inspection, maintenance, and repair of machinery, tools, ladders, and lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with PUWR.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring and auditing of compliance with procedures and quality output, facilitating training and development for colleagues as needed.
  • Lead quality investigations and perform supplier audits, working closely with suppliers to ensure ongoing compliance with company and customer quality requirements.
  • Assist in expanding Lean Manufacturing practices, particularly 5 S, throughout the factory.
  • Prepare and maintain risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years experience as a minimum as a Quality Engineer or QHSE Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of COSH and other HSE principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Worked with/to ISO14001 and/or ISO45001 standards.
  • Must be a British Citizen, due to the nature of our clients work they are not able to consider candidates unless they are a British Citizen.
