Job Title: Head of Academic Planning and Business Intelligence

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our academic planning and business intelligence function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to support the University's academic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the University's academic planning cycle, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Provide expert advice on planning and budgeting, capital planning, and non-financial management information and analysis.
  • Oversee the Business Information and Strategic Insights Team, ensuring compliance with external regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Interim Head of Management Reporting to ensure alignment between academic and financial planning.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of the higher education sector and the University.
  • Extensive experience of planning and analysis, with a deep understanding of risk analysis and its impact on business and financial projections.
  • Ability to lead high-performing teams and develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
