Key Responsibilities- Deliver day-to-day support, providing assistance with personal care and promoting choice and control alongside maximising independence.
- Work in accordance with Leicestershire County Council's Employee Code of Conduct and Skills for Care Code of Conduct for Adult Social Care Workers.
- Assist with the moving and handling of people using available equipment.
- Write clear and concise records.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care and support, and maximising independence.
- Be responsive to meet the changing needs of a 24/7 service. Must be able to work flexibly and participate in a staff rota that incorporates working weekends and bank holidays.
- Have the ability to assist with the moving and handling of people using available equipment.
- Have an understanding of, and commitment to, equal opportunities, and the ability to apply this to all situations.
