Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Be Caring. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in Dinnington and Gosforth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care that respects and promotes the dignity of our clients.
  • Support individuals to maintain their independence and engage in activities that bring them joy.
  • Work collaboratively with families and professionals to ensure our clients receive holistic care.
  • Connect individuals with their communities, accessing local support and services to enhance their quality of life.
  • Deliver personalized care that prioritizes individual choice and control.
  • Communicate effectively with our clients, families, and colleagues, documenting and reporting information as needed.

Induction Training

We recognize that our Care Assistants come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique skills and experiences. Our comprehensive induction training program will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to excel in this role. You will learn about Be Caring values, dignity and respect, safeguarding, and equality and diversity, as well as essential skills in fluids and nutrition, safe medication administration, and more.
