We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner to join our dynamic theatre team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art operating theatre environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in anaesthetic and recovery care.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing equipment for surgery, ensuring safety checks are carried out, and overseeing the use of surgical instruments and equipment during procedures.

Your Key Responsibilities

This role requires a strong background in acute healthcare settings, with experience working on own and as part of a team. You must be able to supervise and support junior staff, demonstrate awareness of clinical audit, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to be able to organise workload effectively, delegate tasks appropriately, and demonstrate dexterity and accuracy in physical skills.
