About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Access Control Developer to join our team at Barclays Bank. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and improving software solutions that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing, and stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations.
  • Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
  • Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.

  • Consult on complex issues, provide advice to People Leaders, and support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk, develop new policies and procedures, and strengthen controls in relation to the work done.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and collaborating with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources, solve problems creatively and effectively, and communicate complex information.
