Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team at beBee Professionals in St Helens, United Kingdom. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions while mentoring junior developers and ensuring code quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance software applications using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Lead technical decision-making processes and code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Mentor and guide junior software engineers in software development methodologies and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies into our software solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Proven experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
