Senior VFX Artist Manager

We are seeking a Senior VFX Artist Manager to join our team at Build a Rocket Boy. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of visual effects artists, guiding them to create visually stunning and technically proficient effects that enhance the gameplay experience of our AAA games.

Key Responsibilities:- Manage the VFX team, ensuring high-quality work output and timely delivery of assets.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of visual effects into the game.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the game's art style and technical requirements.
- Guide team members in their professional development, providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify new ideas and opportunities for innovation.
- Prior experience working on a major AAA game title.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with industry-standard software, including Houdini, Maya/Max, Photoshop/Substance, Embergen, and Unreal Engine 5 (Niagara/Blueprint).
£85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
