Job Duties:- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students, fostering a love for music and creativity
- Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum, aligning with national standards and school goals
- Assess and evaluate students' musical abilities, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Organise and participate in school music events and performances, showcasing student talent and school spirit
- Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their musical skills, helping them reach their full potential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Music or related field, with a strong foundation in music theory and practice
- Experience teaching music at secondary school level, with a proven track record of success
- Degree in Music or related field, with a strong emphasis on music education and pedagogy
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), demonstrating a commitment to teaching and learning
- Teaching music at secondary school level, with a focus on student engagement and academic achievement
- Experience in planning and delivering music lessons, with a emphasis on creativity and innovation
- Strong knowledge of music theory and practical music skills, with the ability to apply them in a teaching context
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
- Organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Postgraduate qualification in Music Education, with a focus on music pedagogy and curriculum design
- Experience in leading music ensembles or choirs, with a proven track record of success
- Full-time position with temporary contract, with opportunities for professional development and training
- Work hours may include evenings for school events, with a focus on student engagement and community involvement
- Collaboration with other music teachers and school staff, with a focus on teamwork and mutual support
- Opportunities for professional development and training, with a focus on staying up-to-date with best practices in music education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
