Support Assistant Opportunity in Bexley

We are Empowering Learning, a specialist education agency dedicated to empowering students with special educational needs. We are currently seeking an experienced Support Assistant to join our team in Bexley.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with teaching staff to deliver personalized support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as toileting, feeding, and administering medication.
  • Engaging pupils in activities and exercises to promote physical and emotional well-being.
  • Contributing to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Progress Reports.

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting children or young adults with ASD.
  • Excellent observation and recording skills to track pupil progress.
  • A valid DBS registration with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain confidentiality when required.
