Job Title: Logistics Administrator

Join Biffa Waste Services Limited as a Logistics Administrator and play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our Middlesbrough Depot. As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the allocation and routing of vehicles to ensure best-in-class service delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage route efficiency and optimize vehicle utilization to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
  • Ensure driver availability and coverage meet legislative and company requirements.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including payroll and disposal information input.
  • Proactively manage vehicle maintenance, safety, and security.
  • Supervise vehicle availability and ensure drivers complete daily checks in accordance with company policy.
  • Contribute to ongoing cost control and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed, including time sheets, tachograph records, and payroll records.
  • Work with the Depot Manager to deliver mandatory training and induction programs.
Requirements:
  • Ability to supervise teams remotely.
  • Good communication and IT skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent man management skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
