Austin Fraser is currently seeking a highly skilled Kitchen and Customer Support Supervisor to join our team. This full-time permanent position involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality catering services that meet our clients' needs and expectations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards.
  • Collaborate with the management team, contributing to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective staff rotas, guaranteeing adequate cover and managing leave and overtime.
  • Work in shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required.
Key Duties:
  • Manage the availability of well-balanced, nutritious meals that meet our high standards.
  • Follow agreed menus and recipe plans, suggesting enhancements and exploring new ideas to improve our services.
  • Liaise with suppliers to source products within budget, ensuring the best possible value for our clients.
  • Implement efficient stock control measures to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Compile and report daily paperwork to Management, maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to established kitchen procedures and systems.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, prioritizing employee and customer well-being.
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven experience in the food and customer service industries, with a track record of success.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheets and word processing software.
  • Ability to manage budgets, place orders, and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to deal face-to-face with customers and stakeholders.
