Senior Social Worker - Adult Mental Health

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join their Adult Mental Health Team on a permanent basis. This exciting opportunity is based in Bromley and offers a competitive salary of up to £56,327 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake Mental Health Act assessments and statutory functions, ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks.
  • Work in partnership with service users, carers, and professionals to assess and meet individual needs, enhancing quality of life and independence.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues, including students, and manage a complex caseload.
  • Establish, monitor, and review care plans, using CPA policy and procedures to identify measurable outcomes.
  • Contribute to team budgets, ensuring quality and best value.
  • Ensure welfare benefit entitlements are identified and met, adhering to legislation and available resources.
  • Participate in civil emergencies, supporting colleagues and assessing/managing risk.
  • Undertake safeguarding investigations, adhering to Council policies and procedures.
  • Familiarize, uphold, and promote the Council's Equality & Diversity policies.
Requirements:
  • A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
