About the Role

As a highly skilled 3rd Line Application Support Specialist at Nigel Wright Recruitment, you will be responsible for delivering expert technical support to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Debian 11 and Ubuntu 24.04, as well as experience with querying databases such as Microsoft SQL, MariaDB, MySQL, and Cassandra.

A strong background in containerisation technologies, including Docker, is also essential, along with expertise in web servers like IIS, Apache, and Nginx.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Ansible and be proficient in scripting languages like Bash and PowerShell.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experienced knowledge of Linux operating systems (Debian 11 and Ubuntu 24.04)
  • Expertise in querying databases (Microsoft SQL, MariaDB, MySQL, Cassandra)
  • Proficiency in containerisation technologies (Docker)
