Supporting Children with SEND and SEMH Needs

We are seeking a Psychology Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant in our partner schools across Haringey. As a specialist teaching assistant, you will work with pupils on a 1 to 1 basis, providing support and guidance to help them overcome their behavioural and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with pupils with identified behaviour, SEMH, and SEN needs, including ASD
  • Provide 1 to 1 support in the classroom, specialist mentoring sessions, and during break times
  • Collaborate with the SENCO, senior management team, and outside agencies to develop and implement individualized support plans

Requirements:

  • Psychology Graduate with experience in CAMHS or child mental health services
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEND and SEMH needs
