We are seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join our Domestic Department at Wellington College Prep, a prestigious independent school in the UK. This role offers a competitive salary of £32,000 - £37,000 per annum and a range of benefits.
About Our School
Located in beautiful surroundings, our school boasts modern facilities and a rich history of innovation in education. As a key member of our Domestic Department, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals across different cuisines and periods.
Key Responsibilities
- To create themed menu offerings that meet our high service standards.
- To participate in daily meetings to discuss meal planning, allergen awareness, and special dietary needs.
- To maintain accurate records of temperature checks, food labelling and dating, cleaning schedules, and hygiene practices.
Your Qualifications
- A secondary education qualification with a strong emphasis on English and maths.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A valid food hygiene certificate.
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment, with knowledge of food safety, health and safety, and allergens.
