Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner Social Worker to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based in Enfield and will work full-time.

The salary for this role is up to £54,516 per annum.

  • To undertake complex assessments and care planning, maintaining a reduced caseload of complex cases.
  • To provide professional guidance and support to Social Work staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer-focused services that promote independence and choice, while managing risk.
  • To take a leadership role in best practice development, with specific responsibility within a specific area, such as Safeguarding Adults or Children, AMHP Practice, Care Management, or Housing.
  • To initiate and engage with best practice developments, implementing changes in policy and procedures within a specialist area of the Service, and participating in practice development by briefing colleagues on new procedures and approaches.
  • To carry out audits or participate in research to support quality assurance and develop standards as required.
  • To establish effective links and working relationships with other key colleagues from different services within and external to the Council and Mental Health NHS Trusts, Acute NHS Trusts, ensuring a professional approach to team working and appropriate services for Service Users and Carers.
  • To maintain detailed, accurate, and concise recordings of the planning and execution of assessments, with clearly recorded decision-making processes and outcomes.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
