About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Woodrow Mercer Healthcare Limited. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide short-term crisis support to individuals in their homes, helping to prevent hospital admissions.
  • Assess clients' needs and develop personalized care plans to meet their requirements.
  • Offer support with personal care, medication reminders, end-of-life care, meal preparation, and emotional support.
Requirements
  • GCSE level education or equivalent by experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and service users.
  • Capacity to handle service user queries in a diplomatic, professional, and confidential manner.
  • Knowledge of supporting individuals with disabilities and/or frailty, as well as those with cognitive impairments.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Level 2 Health and Social Care Diploma.
  • Care Certificate.
Working Arrangements

This role is based in the community, covering Rushcliffe, Nottingham East, and West areas. You will be required to commute or relocate to this area before starting work.
