Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team of temporary staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence.

About the Role

">

This is a daily supply role, working from 1 day a week up to 5 days a week depending on your availability. You will be based in Colchester and surrounding areas, working with a variety of secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Provide general cover in a number of schools throughout the area.">
  3. Supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence.">
  4. Work with small, medium, and large schools, adapting to different classroom environments.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. ">
  2. Experience working with children as a Cover Supervisor or in another capacity.">
  3. A willingness to work on a flexible basis, including ad-hoc supply days.">
  4. The ability to cover secondary school key stages in a supervisory capacity.">
  5. An Enhanced DBS check.">

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary for this role, estimated at £12,000 - £15,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive regular pay updates and benefits through our agency.
